Manoucheka Emmanuel, LCSW
Finding the time for self-care can be difficult, but it is necessary for our overall well-being. The emotions from our daily struggles and obligations can be overwhelming without support. I believe you are capable of making meaningful changes in your life with the help of a professional . With over 10 years of experience working with adolescence and adults, I can provide a safe and supportive space for you to process your thoughts and feelings. I used a client centered approached to help each person reach their goals. My role as a therapist is to support and encourage you to live your life on purpose.
I specialized in working with anxiety, grief and loss, depression, emotional challenges, as well as relationship, self-esteem and communication issues in both adolescence and adults. I utilized a combination of techniques in CBT, DBT, and Mindfulness to help client develop healthy coping skills to manage their symptoms.

Sarah Rubright, LSW
Asking for help is not an easy thing to do. If it were, we would all do it without hesitation. Instead, we set high expectations for ourselves and are resistant to receiving support. We struggle and accept that lifestyle as our norm. I am here to remind you of two indisputable facts; first, life is challenging. Second – and most importantly – is that we do not have to go through it alone.
As a licensed social worker (LSW), my goal is to provide judgment-free, supportive spaces for clients where we can process, manage daily stressors, and learn healthy coping skills to incorporate in life for years to come. I enjoy working with individuals who experience anxiety and/or depression and welcome young adult clients, adolescents, BIPOC, and clients who identify as LGBTQ+. My approach to therapy includes techniques from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) as well as mindfulness and narrative therapy.
While starting therapy can be scary, know that Emmanuel Counseling Center is a growing practice of clinicians committed to our clients’ well-being and growth. I am excited that you are considering this investment in yourself and hope you will reach out with any questions.

Dorotea “Tey” Enriquez, LSW
“ In our lives we can get stuck within our own struggles, anxieties and depression. At times, causing ourselves to feel isolated from the world and feeling hopeless that things will not get better. In that darkness it is important to be able to recognize your strengths and resilience as a person. As I use a strengths based, non judgmental, supportive space to discover and explore your emotions, thoughts and behaviors. Something important I remember is everyone comes from a different place and has different experiences. Which shape how we are as humans and how we process stressors in our lives. Everyone is capable of change, and everyone is capable of being the best version of themselves. I enjoy to work those dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, self-esteem issues, gender and identity concerns, emotional challenges or any addiction. I also enjoy working with adults and adolescents and those who are BIPOC, and LGBTQIA+. My approaches used within my work are CBT, DBT, solution-focused therapy, motivational interviewing, Psychoanalysis, and Trauma focused therapy. I want to leave with the impression of I want our sessions to not feel as a burden but something you enjoy to come to, where we can have a open conversation, and where you feel safe and supported. Please do not hesitate to reach out with any questions you may have and I otherwise will end with this- You have the power and key to do anything and that not all hope is lost when you are at the bottom.”

Megan Chivate, LSW
Hi! I’m Megan and I am a Licensed Social Worker (LSW). I’m glad you’re here. Looking for a therapist takes courage, and I want to acknowledge the very challenging steps that you are taking to find support either for yourself or for a loved one. I appreciate you and the inner strength it takes to seek help. Our mental wellbeing is a culmination of factors ranging from our genetics to our daily stressors which can sometimes make us feel like our world is crashing down all at once or that things are happening as a trickle with no rhyme or reason. Navigating our inner world simultaneously with the external world can be overwhelming. Therapy creates space for self-exploration, growth, and empowerment. I view my role as a therapist to be a collaborator and guide for processing and coping through life’s messiness in an authentic and purposeful way. Through curiosity, humility, and empathy, I work to meet a client wherever they are at in their own journey. I strive to provide a safe and judgement-free space for growth for all through a mindset that is trauma-informed, culturally-responsive, LGBTQIA+ affirming, and neurodiversity-affirming. We are partners in this process and I encourage clients to share feedback at any point during therapy to identify what is working well for them and what isn’t working so well. I embrace a “growth mindset” and will always emphasize progress over perfection. My professional experience includes working with adults of diverse backgrounds, including BIPOC and LGBTQIA+, living with any of the following: ADHD, Autism, anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, substance use, trauma, grief, life transitions, chronic stressors, and relationship challenges. My therapeutic approach blends elements of Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), strengths-based, mindfulness, and Internal Family Systems (IFS). We at Emmanuel Counseling Center are here to help you achieve whatever your goals may be. Reach out at any time to learn more or to get started with your therapy journey.
