Dorotea “Tey” Enriquez, LSW

“ In our lives we can get stuck within our own struggles, anxieties and depression. At times, causing ourselves to feel isolated from the world and feeling hopeless that things will not get better. In that darkness it is important to be able to recognize your strengths and resilience as a person. As I use a strengths based, non judgmental, supportive space to discover and explore your emotions, thoughts and behaviors. Something important I remember is everyone comes from a different place and has different experiences. Which shape how we are as humans and how we process stressors in our lives. Everyone is capable of change, and everyone is capable of being the best version of themselves. I enjoy to work those dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, self-esteem issues, gender and identity concerns, emotional challenges or any addiction. I also enjoy working with adults and adolescents and those who are BIPOC, and LGBTQIA+. My approaches used within my work are CBT, DBT, solution-focused therapy, motivational interviewing, Psychoanalysis, and Trauma focused therapy. I want to leave with the impression of I want our sessions to not feel as a burden but something you enjoy to come to, where we can have a open conversation, and where you feel safe and supported. Please do not hesitate to reach out with any questions you may have and I otherwise will end with this- You have the power and key to do anything and that not all hope is lost when you are at the bottom.”
